  • This company is expanding due to increased demand for specialist foot & ankle and sub-specialty orthopaedic solutions.
  • The business works with established global manufacturers and focuses on building strong surgeon relationships across its region.
  • This role is designed for someone early in their device career who wants to develop properly, not just carry boxes or observe from the side of theatre.

What you’ll be doing:

As Clinical Specialist / Account Manager, you will support existing customers across Yorkshire and the North East while contributing to the continued commercial development of the territory.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clinical and technical support during surgical procedures

  • Developing a strong understanding of relevant procedures, anatomy and products
  • Building and maintaining relationships with orthopaedic consultants, theatre teams, clinical staff and procurement
  • Supporting product demonstrations and trials
  • Developing new surgeon and customer relationships
  • Identifying opportunities within existing accounts
  • Supporting territory growth and commercial planning
  • Managing consignment stock where required

  • Progressively taking greater ownership of accounts as your experience develops

The role offers the opportunity to develop from a clinically focused position into one with increasing account management and commercial responsibility.

Here’s what you need:

Ideally, you will have:

  • Approximately one year or more of experience in orthopaedic sales or clinical support
  • Experience supporting surgical procedures within an operating theatre
  • A good understanding of anatomy and surgical procedures
  • The confidence to communicate effectively with surgeons and wider clinical teams
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine interest in developing the commercial side of your role
  • The initiative and independence to manage your own development and responsibilities
  • A willingness to learn detailed technical and product information
  • The ambition to progress towards greater account and territory ownership
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the territory

You may currently be working as a Sales Associate, Clinical Support Specialist, Clinical Specialist, Associate Territory Manager, Junior Territory Manager or in a developing Account Manager position.
