About Me
Liv joined Advance Recruitment in 2012 after completing her A Levels, beginning her career as a Business and Administration apprentice. She progressed into candidate resourcing and then full recruitment, completing both the Professional IOR Certificate in Agency Recruiting Level 3 and Executive Search training accredited by the Institute of Retained Search.
As Senior Search Partner, Liv works with medtech and healthcare businesses across the UK and Ireland to recruit high-performing sales, marketing, clinical and leadership talent. She specialises in searches where finding the right person requires more than advertising a vacancy, including senior, niche, confidential, business-critical and hard-to-fill appointments, as well as multiple-hire and team-build projects.
Having developed her career entirely within medtech recruitment, Liv brings extensive market knowledge and a consultative, search-led approach to every assignment. She takes time to understand the organisation, the role and what success looks like before mapping the relevant market and engaging both active and passive candidates. Her Executive Search training has been particularly influential in shaping how she approaches more complex recruitment projects.
Outside work, Liv is a Manchester City season ticket holder and lifelong animal lover. She is a vegetarian, volunteers with a local cat rescue charity and shares her home with her two cats, Rita and Peggy, who occasionally make themselves known during calls. She also enjoys ballet, pilates and has completed the Manchester Half Marathon, although her running shoes have seen rather less action since then!
