About Me
Clare joined Advance Recruitment in 2005 as Office Manager before moving into candidate resourcing and, more recently, her role as Talent Partner. She specialises in identifying, engaging and supporting medical sales, clinical and marketing professionals across the medtech sector.
Her role is focused on proactively searching the market for people who could be a strong fit for clients’ vacancies, including experienced candidates who are not actively looking for a new position. She works across a broad range of appointments, from established commercial and clinical professionals through to graduates, trainees, nurses and others seeking their first opportunity in medical sales.
For candidates looking to enter the industry, Clare provides guidance on how their transferable skills may fit, what employers are looking for and how to prepare for the recruitment and interview process. Having worked in medical sales recruitment for more than 20 years, she has developed an extensive network and enjoys maintaining relationships with people throughout their careers.
Clare is also Advance’s resident “can you just…” person. Whether it involves IT, the website, Canva or a new piece of software that needs figuring out, the request generally finds its way to her. Often, the next “can you just…” arrives before she has finished dealing with the last one, but she somehow keeps everything moving.
Outside work, Clare is an animal lover and shares her home with three cats and a dog. She supports Manchester City and lesser known Altrincham FC, is a keen music fan and keeps Download Festival firmly marked in her diary every year!
